The Interesting Stuff
María Cecilia (Chechu), originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, has always had a passion for teaching. After finishing high school, she began studying to become a primary school teacher and worked for more than 12 years in both private and public schools in Argentina.
Several years ago, she attended a conference on Montessori education, which sparked her interest in the methodology. Since then, she has incorporated Montessori elements into her classes, enriching her students' learning experiences. She is certified as a Montessori Guide for children aged 3 to 6 and has training as an assistant for ages 6 to 12. Additionally, three years ago, she moved to the United States, where she worked at a Bilingual Montessori school in Cambridge.

Chechu has also completed a Postgraduate degree in Classroom Gamification and is finishing a Bachelor's Degree in Early Literacy. She currently lives with her husband, and outside the educational sphere, she enjoys playing field hockey, a sport she played competitively. She also coached youth teams in Argentina.
