Meet Nthabi 

Nthabi Thakadu brings a wealth of knowledge in child development and Montessori pedagogy to Montessori Escuela. She graduated from Endicott College with a BA in Early Childhood Education concentrating in Montessori education and obtained her American Montessori Society credential from the New England Montessori Teacher Education Center.

 

Nthabi has been working with children since she was 13 years old when she started babysitting. She fell in love with the Montessori pedagogy as a nanny who volunteered at a Montessori school one day.  She has always believed in children working independently and at their own pace.  Nthabi loves that in a Montessori classroom exploration is encouraged and children can make mistakes and correct themselves independently.

 

Nthabi loves music and enjoys singing. She sings with different local Choruses in the Boston area and she leads Worship at her local Church. In her spare time, she loves reading and enjoys nature walks. Her favorite animal is the elephant and tortoise. She is from South Africa and loves sharing her culture with people.
