The Interesting Stuff

Liselot was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in General Psychology from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC). She brings more than 16 years of professional experience working with children and adolescents in the fields of education, mental health, learning support, and child development.

Throughout her career, Liselot has worked in private school settings, primarily within Student Support departments. Her experience includes classroom support, learning therapy, supervision of Special Education programs, cognitive development and enrichment programs, and individualized one-on-one interventions. She has also worked as an educational consultant, supervised programs focused on cognitive and intellectual development, and maintained a private practice.

In 2023, Liselot moved to the Boston area and continued her professional journey at a Montessori school in Massachusetts, where she expanded her knowledge and experience with Montessori education.

Liselot strongly believes in the Montessori philosophy and its ability to foster independence, self-discipline, confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. She is passionate about creating a warm, respectful, and positive environment where each child is supported according to their individual needs, interests, and pace of development.

As an educator, Liselot values building strong partnerships with families and believes that collaboration between home and school plays an essential role in supporting each child's development and well-being.

Outside of school, Liselot enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, being in nature, going to the beach, and discovering new places with her family. She also values continuous professional development, which helps her remain motivated, creative, and engaged in her educational practice.

Liselot is very happy to be part of the Montessori community and looks forward to supporting children as they grow, explore, and develop their independence.
