Over 20 years of experience in education, including 11 years dedicated exclusively to Montessori education.

International teaching experience in Colombia, Chile, and Mexico.

Astrid is originally from Colombia and also holds Chilean citizenship. Her deep passion for teaching and child development led her to specialize in Montessori education, where she found a respectful and thoughtfully prepared approach to supporting each child’s holistic development.

For Astrid, the Montessori environment provides a unique space where children can develop independence, curiosity, a love of learning, and self-confidence while progressing at their own individual pace. With more than two decades of experience in education, including 11 years as a Montessori Guide, she has enriched her teaching practice through her experience living and working in Colombia, Chile, and Mexico. Her international background allows her to bring a warm, inclusive, and multicultural perspective to the school community.

Outside of school, Astrid enjoys staying active, continuing to learn, and spending quality time with her loved ones. She is delighted to be part of the Montessori Escuela community and looks forward to guiding and supporting children with warmth, respect, and dedication.
