The Interesting Stuff
Karen is an Early Childhood Educator with 13 years of experience, educated at IPP Los Leones, and a Montessori Guide for children ages 3–6 through the Centro de Estudios Montessori (CEM), with 11 years of experience in the Montessori approach. She deeply loves her work and sees each day in the classroom as a new opportunity to be surprised by a child’s words, curiosity, affection, or simply a smile.
Karen embraces the Montessori philosophy with great passion and dedication. She especially enjoys observing how each child grows, develops independence, and discovers the world at their own pace while respecting their individual interests and needs.
She also values continuous learning and is always looking for opportunities to expand her knowledge and enrich her educational practice. Karen is currently continuing her professional development in the areas of TEA/CEA, learning opportunities in the regular classroom, and language disorders, with the goal of gaining new knowledge and tools to better support children’s development and learning.
Outside of school, Karen enjoys spending quality time with her family and putting together puzzles, an activity that allows her to connect with a sense of calm, patience, and concentration.
