Meet Maria Eugenia

Originally from Venezuela, Maria Eugenia holds a degree in Business Administration and brings more than 15 years of professional experience in the banking sector. After settling in the United States, she discovered a new calling in education and early childhood development. Inspired by this new purpose, she completed training in child development and early childhood education, beginning a meaningful new chapter in her professional journey.

Her passion for early childhood education comes from her strong belief that the first years of life are essential to a child’s overall development. She believes that supporting children during this important stage is both a great responsibility and a wonderful opportunity to help them become confident, independent, and curious individuals who are prepared to explore and navigate the world around them.

Passionate about continuous learning, Maria Eugenia continues to deepen her knowledge of the Montessori philosophy. She especially values the Montessori approach for its respect for each child’s individual pace, independence, and natural ability to learn.

For Maria Eugenia, education means observing, guiding, and providing a thoughtfully prepared environment where each child feels respected and supported while discovering their abilities, developing independence, and reaching their full potential.

On a personal level, Maria Eugenia is married and is the proud mother of a professional and independent son. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, planning outings, exploring new places throughout New England, participating in outdoor activities, and continuing to strengthen her English skills.

Maria Eugenia embraces this new chapter in her professional journey with enthusiasm, dedication, and a strong sense of purpose. She is delighted to be part of the Montessori Escuela community and looks forward to building meaningful and collaborative relationships with children and their families.

She believes that every child has a unique and authentic essence and that their natural spontaneity, curiosity, and individuality should be respected and nurtured with care and sensitivity.
