Meet Paola 

Paola has more than 12 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She began her career in Chile, working with Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten children in private schools. After moving to Boston in 2018, she spent four years at an international language school in Hingham, followed by experience at a Montessori school in Newton.
She joined Montessori Escuela in 2022, where she has worked as a Children’s House Lead Teacher. This year, she is excited and grateful to take on the role of Children’s House Coordinator, a wonderful opportunity that she embraces with great responsibility, dedication, and love.
The Interesting Stuff
Paola has wanted to be a teacher since she was a little girl. What she loves most about working with children is believing in their potential and helping them discover everything they are capable of becoming.
She believes children thrive when they feel safe, loved, respected, and truly seen. She loves building meaningful connections with children and creating an environment where they feel confident to explore, discover, experiment, face challenges, and develop a genuine love for learning. For Paola, education is also about nurturing kindness, empathy, independence, respect, and cooperation, while helping children become confident and caring individuals.
Paola is originally from Chile and is the proud mother of three grown children. She enjoys reading, traveling, yoga, going to the gym, taking walks, and spending time with friends and family. Whenever she can, she loves traveling back to Chile to be with her family.
